We as a church are striving to obey Matthew 28:18-20 through local, national, and worldwide missions. From personal evangelism among our church family to church planting overseas, PM is interested in reaching the world with the good news that Jesus Christ saves!
“If there be any one point in which the Christian church ought to keep its fervor at a white heat, it is concerning missions. If there be anything about which we cannot tolerate lukewarmness, it is in the matter of sending the gospel to a dying world.”Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Jesus sent His children into a dangerous world as sheep among wolves! They were harmless as doves in the midst of angry wolves who were thirsty for blood. However, the children of Christ had a great message that Jesus saves! That same commission continues today in the church of Jesus Christ. Whether it’s a lifelong calling to abandon the comforts of America and go to the nations with the gospel or a calling to invest in worldwide missions on a volunteer basis – we as Christians all have a calling to go!
How do we engage?
We are actively involved in Ecuador (Zhud) where we planted a church a number of years ago. To this day, we stay connected and engage in the training of church leaders and local evangelism.
We also engage in other areas of gospel missions through:
- Prayer (weekly prayer in our worship services)
- Sending (sending people to train church leaders)
- Giving (contributing to missions offerings)
- Going (some of our members and leaders go)
We encourage other churches to parter with trusted organizations like HeartCry Missionary Society.
