Truth About Abortion
Abortion is murder and there is no other way around it (Exodus 20:13). It’s a fact that our culture in America with great technological advancement has tried for years to promote ignorance rather than knowledge and truth regarding abortion. Every child is a real baby – from conception. You must refuse to believe the popular and politically correct lie about abortion.
“Conception, then is the act of God whereby a person is created by God’s sovereign will. A soul is breathed into the living tissue by the Holy Spirit. That soul’s destiny is already known to God and determined by Him from before the foundation of the world. Abortion then becomes a violent anti-God act. Consider what Former Surgeon General, C. Everett Koop said, “In thirty-five years of medicine I have never seen one case where abortion was necessary to save a mother’s life.”
Truth About Life
God is the author of life. He is sovereign over the womb. That is clear from many passages in Scripture. Genesis 29:31 says, “When the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.” The reality of God’s sovereignty over the womb is visible in the case of Isaac, Moses, Jeremiah, David, John the Baptist, Jesus and more.
Truth About Adoption
God has a plan and purpose for every unborn child. Even if a person doesn’t intend to raise their child, someone will gladly provide a home and love for that child. The church today needs to openly and actively support adoption rather than abortion. Truth About Healing
Many men have regrets for paying for abortions in their past. Many women live with ugly scars related to the abortion they chose years ago. The reality is – all people have sinned against God and deserve His wrath (Romans 3:23; 6:23). The only way that a person can be restored and forgiven of all sins – including the sin of abortion – is through the blood of Jesus Christ. God will not accept any other act of goodness or sacrifice to erase the stain of sin. Therefore, I would encourage you today to call out to God in faith and believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, died for you on the cross in order to pay for your sin. Believe that Jesus Christ suffered for you – in your place – on the cross and call out to God asking Him to forgive you through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus (Romans 10:13). In Christ – there is hope. Hope for today and hope for eternity. Either your sin will be paid for in Hell or on the cross of Jesus Christ. Cling to Jesus today!
