Family Worship

One of the main responsibilities for parents that’s often overlooked and neglected in our fast paced society is – family worship.  It is the duty of Christian parents to disciple their children in the gospel.  This imperative was established long ago when God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt and gave them the command listed in Deuteronomy 6.  That entire chapter explains why parents are to teach their children the Word of God.

It is the goal of the pastoral staff to provide good resources and assistance in this area.  It is not the job of the pastoral staff to do the work for you, but we are here to be an aid and assistant in our weekly devotions with your family.  Below you will see some good tools to use.  The first thing is that a daily devotion from Charles Spurgeon covering a passage of Scripture will be posted on this page.  It will be updated daily.  Beyond that, you will see lists of books and other resources to help you in your family worship time.
