Jon Norton

Jon Norton is a lay Elder at Pray’s Mill. He married the love of his life, Nakitta Dalton Norton, in 2008, and together they have four children: Annabelle, Addison, Bennett, and Knox. Jon was
home-educated and has been working in the construction industry since the age of 11.
Through the influence of godly parents, grandparents and an uncle who taught him to build with
his hands, Jon worked each day building homes and having conversations about the goodness
of the gospel and how the church had deviated in many ways from the truth that was heralded
throughout Europe by men like Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Knox, and others. He grew to
love the Gospel. He was named Jonathan Uriah Goldman Norton because his parents desired
him to be a “flame of the Lord.” The Lord put a desire in Jon to be a shepherd for Christ’s
Church, and by God’s mercy, he was ordained and installed as an elder at Pray’s Mill in July of
2023.

His hobbies include his family, Christ’s Church, camping, talking by fire pits, reading, Atlanta
Braves baseball, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
