Hall’s Living Library

“A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people. It is a never failing spring in the desert.”
Andrew Carnegie

For Readers of All Ages
Hall’s Living Library is a collection of almost 20,000 treasured children’s books—most from the Golden Era of Children’s Literature. The library is owned by Mrs. Sandy Hall and housed at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. Sandy is a veteran homeschool mother for more than 25 years, and has collected these books over the past 50 years.
Yearly family membership fees are $150. It’s not just about the books; it’s about the friendships and relationships built. Library memberships are open to the public. If you are looking for an alternative to the public library’s books, please contact Sandy Hall for a tour to see if the library is a good fit for your family!

You are cordially invited to attend the Friday evening session, April 17. This is for adults and teens only, please. The session is from 6:15 to 8:30 pm.
Speakers are Liz Cottrill and Emily Kiser of A Delectable Education, and
Michelle Howard of Truthquest History, the dear lady who pioneered this movement decades ago.
Also, Jan Bloom of Bloom Books will be at this conference with a complete bookstore of treasured books for sale. Friday from noon to 4, and 8:30 to 10:00 pm, the bookstore will be open to you. And Jan is kindly offering a 20% discount for you on any books you purchase.
