Wow!! That is what I was thinking all night Sunday after the youth led the service. What an amazing job they did! If you were not there you need to get the video and watch the whole thing. It was a wonderful display of the God given talent that these young men and women have been blessed to use for His Glory. I was thoroughly impressed with all of them even those in the middle section that just sang their hearts out. I remember in the middle of the Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone song I felt the spirit of God fill that place and I was almost overcome with emotion, which some may attribute to many nonsensical things, but the Lord showed up Sunday night and I was extremely blessed. I would like to point out a few observations from Sunday evening and see what your thoughts are as well.

  • Abigail Word is a fantastic pianist!
  • The Youth Praise Team needs a drum set for the youth room! Great job Brian!
  • Jana Leibbrand has become a very mature musician.
  • Abbey Jacks sang the best I have ever heard her I could really tell she was singing to the Lord.
  • Chelsea’s testimony about the football players and their parents concerning the prayer cards was very eye opening to how little things can make BIG things happen.
  • What an unbelievable job the Youth on Mission did with those two skits!!! I mean Mrs. Audrey and her crew really did an awesome job getting that together.
  • Patrick Jacks did a wonderful job presenting his own acronym for salvation.
        • Salvation
        • Available
        • For
        • Everyone
  • Tyler Morris passionately shared his heart concerning our need to follow God’s will and rely on Him to establish our works.
  • Bruce Goff and Ryan Turner also did a great job of handling the announcements and welcome. I told them they couldn’t do any worse than me so don’t be nervous.
  • The ushers and greeters also did a great job.
  • I was most proud of our teenagers that taught Sunday School that morning. They really displayed courage in facing people that are much older and more experienced in life than they are. They did what some of us would not even consider doing today, and even with a very involved lesson dealing with the tribulation.

Overall, what a great day in the house of the Lord!!!!

let me know what you think??

The youth did a great job leading the service. It is great to see how many youth want to make a difference. I think it would be wonderful to see them doing what they do more often. Why wait for a yourth service?
Abigail was fantastic, Kathy said it would be good to have her play for her when she is out of town. Josh and the girls did a very good job leading the songs. The black light show the youth did was better than the one on the internet. I was blessed by what they did

My thoughts on Youth Sunday are “Wow”!!! on the entire day. What
a blessed day it was. I was so impressed with our youth. I never realized
how much talent we had at Prays Mill in our young people. Sunday night
was awesome. The black light skit brought me to tears. I could feel the
presence of Holy Spirit in our church. Would love to see it again! Maby
next time with advance notice so we could invite someone who is lost.
Thank you Mrs. Audrey & others who helped for an outstanding job! !!
Bro.Ric & Mrs. Genie…Just want you to know that we feel so blessed to
have ya’ll with us at PMBC. No one anywhere could do a better job than the two of you working together ,serving the Lord. I do pray for ya’ll daily
and hope God’s will is to keep you with us indefinitely. You’re such a beautiful family & we love you. I know God will continue to do great things for Prays Mill if we remain faithful to Him.

This year’s youth sunday was amazing!! it was the best that i have been apart of these past 3 years. I hope that next year and years after as our youth group grows we can praise the Lord more and more and take our passion for Christ out onto the rest of our church. Thank you so much for teaching us and helping to bring us up as godly young men and woman. I don’t think there is any other person who would love us and care for us like you do. It has been awesome being in the youth group under you and e everyone else and I cant wait for the next few years!!
