My Wife’s Gratitude

Dear Church Family, I was sitting here this morning thinking about the blessings in my life and my mind kept coming back to y’all. I immediately thanked my Lord for all of you, and for the blessing of being part of such an awesome church family. Words cannot express my appreciation. When I moved here 8 years ago, I was counting the days until I moved back home to Virginia. Now sitting here today, I can’t imagine moving anywhere. There is no where else I would rather be. Thank you so much for all that you have done for Ric and for my family. I look back over the last 7 months and am humbled by the outpouring of love from each and every one of you. Thank you for all you have done for us. Thank you for the diapers and wipes that overflowed my van (and now my closet). There are still so many left. What an awesome blessing to not have to buy those. I will always look back at that day with the fondest of memories. Thank you for the countless meals that have been provided for us. They have all been so wonderful and I blame those meals for the 20 pounds that I am still carrying around. I know I know, but I can blame them if I want to! Thank you for the cards and kind words that you all wrote to Ric and I during Staff Appreciation. I love to sit and read those cards and see what God is doing in each of your lives and how He is using Ric. They speak volumes, what encouragement! Thank you for loving my kids the way that you do and always making them feel so important. You have all become their family. To live away from mine and Ric’s folks can be tough sometimes, but so many of you have become the grandparents, aunts and uncles, and family that we don’t have here. Thank you. Thank you, most of all for loving my husband. I know that so many of you are praying for him on a continual basis and believe me, those prayers are much appreciated. I count it an honor to be a part of such an awesome body of believers! I look forward to seeing what God is going to do in our church in the days ahead! I believe that our Lord has some great things in store for us and I pray that we will continue to Trust Him and rely on Him. I read the newsletter this past week and loved what was written at the bottom of the front page. It simply stated: WE ARE PRAY”S MILL….an imperfect church, filled with imperfect people, serving a perfect God. We are Pray’s Mill!!! I love you all and “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” (Phil 1:3). I hope you each know how much I appreciate you. Blessings, Genie Blazi

God has blessed us by giving us you. I am so thankful that my children had the chance to spend their youth years with you both. You are very instrumental in our children’s spiritual growth. Thank you for reinforcing what was tought at home.

    Bro. Ric and Mrs. Genie,
Thank you both for making such an impact on my life. You both are such a wonderful blessing to me. Your continuing dedication to the Lord is so amazing. I pray that God will outpour his blessings on you both and your family. God has used you both in my life to make a major difference and I am blessed today because of it. I work with teenage boys everyday and a teenage girl on Wednesdays and Sundays and I think about all the things that you both taught me while I was in the youth group. THANK YOU!! You will have your reward in heaven one day for all the time, sacrifice, and example that you have given for so many people. GOD BLESS YOU!!

  5. Bro. Ric & Mrs. Genie,
I only wish my daughters could have come up in the Youth Dept. with the two of you as teachers. I see the Youth we have today and how they are growing in the Lord & I’m so grateful for you both. Bro. Ric you make me proud to be a part of Pray’s Mill by seeing how you love the Lord and these kids and want to see them grow closer to our Lord through Bible Study on Sundays & Wednesday Nights. Keep on keeping on! I love you both.

I am so very thankful for the leaders that are in PMBC Youth Dept. starting with Bro Ric & Genie on down. What we saw on youth night 2 weeks ago was the LORD at work in our kids hearts and we should thank the LORD everyday for Giving & Blessing us with and group of people that seek to live a life for CHRIST & pass it along to our children with a giving heart. I have seen my own children learn, grow, and share CHRIST and pray that as adults they seek GOD face in all they do.. Bro Ric and Genie you are always in our prayers along with the whole staff and I thank GOD for you daily ..We love you all and may GOD Bless You.
